FAQs

Why the change from classes to units? Having a unit structure allows us to create a supportive classroom environment where students can grow upon their knowledge each week and develop long term projects. This also allows for the development of strong social relationships with other students and a deeper understanding of the unit’s topic.

Can I sign up for single sessions? Each session will build on the information learned in the session prior, so single sessions won’t be offered. Units will also involve long-term projects that require attendance for each class.

Can I alternate Tuesday and Thursday sessions? Interacting with the same students each week will allow your child to make more meaningful connections rather than being with a different group each week, so we won’t be registering for alternating sessions.

If I miss the first session, can I still sign up? If there is still space, registration will remain open until one week after the first session, February 4th.
